Meet The Team

Curtis Mattingly

CEO

Curtis Mattingly, a U.S. Air Force veteran and Indiana University graduate, began his career at Physician Sales and Service, where he rose from customer service to General Manager of a multistate unit, earning national recognition with the Blue Ribbon Award. In 2006, he founded BCM Security Services, transforming a local event security firm into a national provider serving clients from Fortune 10 companies to local promoters. In 2022, BCM merged with Sentry Event Services to deliver enhanced, client-focused security solutions by combining the strengths of both organizations.

Brandon Idalsky

President/COO

Brandon Igdalsky is an accomplished operations executive with deep experience in sports, entertainment, and sustainability. He began his career at Pocono Raceway at 13, eventually serving as its President and CEO. He later joined NASCAR, holding leadership roles in event marketing, operations, and sustainability from 2017 to 2022. In June 2024, he became COO of Sentry Event Services, where he leads operational growth, new service development, and business integration. An entrepreneur at heart, he also founded Dude Wow Cocktails and has been active in YPO since 2010. He is the proud father of twin daughters attending Florida universities.

Scott Davis

Director of Operations

Scott Davis is a retired police detective from Dallas, Pennsylvania, with a distinguished career in law enforcement. He trained with the Pennsylvania State Police, FBI, and DEA, gaining specialized expertise in criminal investigations. Now based in Florida, Scott serves as Director of Operations at Sentry Event Services, where he leverages his extensive experience to lead security and operational strategy. He is also the Editor at Law Enforcement Today, a platform focused on supporting the law enforcement community. Scott and his wife, Laura, enjoy spending time with their three children and four grandchildren.

Jim Harris

Director Event Operations, Northeast & Special Events

Jim B Harris Jr. began his career with Sentry Event Services in 2014 and rose through the ranks to become Operations Manager. He oversees scheduling, training, inventory, and administrative functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. With extensive experience coordinating security for major events like Firefly Music Festival, Daytona 500, and The Northern Trust PGA Tournament, Jim has led teams across ten states. He also manages outsourced staffing, client invoicing, and payroll for over 1,000 personnel annually, playing a key role in Sentry’s nationwide success.

Evan Helgesen

Director of Event Operations, Southeast

Evan Helgesen began his career in event management while earning a Sport Management degree at Baldwin Wallace University. With over a decade at Sentry Event Services, he has led operations for major clients including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Rays, Florida State University, and the St. Petersburg Grand Prix. Evan brings deep expertise in managing high-stakes situations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction across events ranging from small gatherings to stadium-scale productions.

Jesse Haynes

Director of Recruiting

Jesse Haynes leads recruitment at Sentry Event Services, where he has spent the past three years building a high-performing hiring strategy. Starting as a Recruiter, Jesse quickly advanced to Director, overseeing a team responsible for staffing high-profile clients including Raymond James Stadium, NASCAR events, PGA Tours, and more. He specializes in strategic recruitment planning, community engagement through job fairs, and digital hiring campaigns that attract top talent. Jesse’s data-driven, people-focused approach ensures exceptional candidate experiences and supports Sentry’s continued growth and operational excellence.

MJ Warnick

Financial Administrator

MJ Warnick brings over 20 years of experience in financial management and operational oversight within the security industry. As Financial Administrator at Sentry Event Services, she ensures fiscal integrity through expert payroll administration, regulatory compliance, and strategic budget planning. Known for her precision and analytical skill, MJ plays a key role in optimizing financial processes and supporting organizational growth. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her two children—both recent medical residency graduates—and her new granddaughter.

Tim Allen

Director of Stadium Operations/Security Director

Tim Allen joined Sentry Event Services in 2018 and quickly rose through the ranks to become Director of Stadium Operations at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. He oversees all facets of event execution—from NFL games to major concerts—ensuring seamless logistics, team coordination, and top-tier safety and service. Known for his operational efficiency and leadership, Tim has improved internal processes and fostered a strong workplace culture focused on employee retention and performance.

Ed Harris

Director of Scheduling

Ed Harris brings over 17 years of experience in corporate security, event operations, and military service. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, he has led security efforts for major events like the Indianapolis 500, Daytona 500, and PGA Memorial Tournament. As Director of Special Project Operations at Sentry Event Services and former VP at BCM Security, Harris has driven multi-state operations and strategic partnerships. He holds a degree in Sociology with a Criminal Justice focus from East Stroudsburg University and numerous certifications in security and emergency preparedness.
